    Wooohooooo two sleeps !!!! Heading to the canals Wednesday afternoon and fishing Thursday and Friday morning….Benmore Friday afternoon……..what more could a man ask for ?

    My daughter has just cooked a superb beef pie for those in the Clements house….I can see a 10 coming on !
    A wee gin, maybe a beer or two and some feisty winter rainbows…….we are livin the dream !

    Julie can you assure me I won’t scratch my truck getting in there ! There is no way I want to get my all terrain tyres dirty !

    A great week down South,not enough fish but hey that’s how it goes. Went to some amazing spots, one back county stream 2 Hours each way on a 4wd track….a beautiful spot and some nice fish too.

    Barry I did the shotover jet Easter weekend they end up just above the launching area and there is a rock garden that you can’t take boats past……looked as rough as guts !!! It would be a rough walk in from there !!!

    Allan yes a great little lake.
    And for those readers out there remember the club has a waterstider blow up pontoon boat for members to hire.so you can access these small lakes and get away from the crowds.these are great little boats very safe and easy to fish out of.
